The 1-2-3 of Music: Elvis, Michael Jackson, and Prince

BY: GURU JAY

1.

Music makes the world go 'round. Hear what I'm saying, now. Everything can potentially become music to your ears. The way she speaks to you in that special tone is music. The way our car engine rumbles is music.

Guru Jay thinks he has figured out the world. Let me elaborate some more. Let's start the show!

Today's blog is all about music and greatness. Who is the greatest music artist? Maybe, Elvis, Michael Jackson, and Prince in that order.

A better question is who's music makes the world go 'round the most. I feel that's a difficult question to answer because first of all what defines the world? Are we living under the same sun but in two different worlds?

I've climbed a different mountain than you. I've seen Hollywood stars through a different set of lens. Did you know I wear glasses? Not prescription but sunglasses because I'm cool. And you ladies and gents are the coolest fans on the Planet Earth. I know I've got some cool fans on Mars by now. Shout out to Elon Musk and Google.

Put it to you this way. Like Elvis, I can't help falling in love with you and some things are meant to be. You're meant to read GuruJay.com right now.

Where are my Michael Jackson fans? You all are the most precious on the globe. Happy Belated Halloween! Because this is “Thriller, Thriller, Night. You're fighting for your life!”

Maybe, Prince was the greatest because he owned all his work. The artist known by a symbol was a true businessman. He left behind wealth in terms of financial and musical.

Maybe, nobody can be better than Elvis. In total, Elvis sold approximately 1 billion records. So it's safe to say if alive he would be a billionaire. What is more, he has nearly 1 billion fans. It seems like there a billion Presley impersonators. Plus, the Blue Suede shoe salesman leads a quarter million Twitter followers.

Michael Jackson has 76 million Facebook likes. Prince made Purple Rain and the rest is history. To conclude, I've come to a conclusion that Elvis, Michael Jackson and Prince made the world go 'round with their music.

Can You Get More Famous Than Michael Jackson?

BY: GURU JAY

Can you get more famous than Michael Jackson? The King of Pop ruled popular culture with a velvet glove and red leather jacket. He still has wild fans going crazy all over the place. Plus, he had a big fortune in addition to fame.

Nobody, not even Beyonce, can get more famous than Michael Jackson. Beyonce may wind up with more money, but not fame. Let me know if you disagree.

Like Prince, Whitney Houston and Aaliyah Michael Jackson gave his all. He displayed passion and compassion. Further, he was highly regarded as a humanitarian.

When it came to premium entertainers, Michael was the best they came. His singing voice was accurate beyond belief. His dance moves mesmerized crowds. He understood how to entertain. That's why he was great.

When he died, people immediately thought he faked his death like Elvis and Tupac supposedly had done.

Everyone can name a Michael Jackson song. Almost everyone has seen one of his music videos. Have you tried moon walking? Michael popularized it!

What are your favorite Michael Jackson songs and music videos? Some of my favorites are: You Rock My World, Black or White, Smooth Criminal, and Dirty Diana. Are you a fan of the Jackson 5? I love Who's Loving You?, I Want You Back, and ABC.

You'll find people dancing to Thriller from New York to as far as Tokyo. The whole world knows “Billie Jean is not my lover.” “She's just a girl who says I am the one.” And according to Maury, you are not the father!

Michael Jackson has sold an estimated 400 million records internationally. Moreover, the Thriller album is the greatest selling album of all time with 65 million claimed sales. It's easy to claim that billions around the world are familiar with MJ's rhythm and blues.

Final thoughts, can you get more famous than the King of Pop? Without question, you simply can't get more famous than Michael Jackson. Many will try to, though.

Prince, Whitney Houston, and Aaliyah

BY: GURU JAY

Prince, Whitney Houston, and Aaliyah made music better. The 3 music makers rejuvenated rock, pop, and R&B genres. They literally transformed sounds.

No one could have sang Purple Rain like Prince. Who else other than Whitney could hit that amazing “And I Will Always Love You” high note? And only Aaliyah could have sang One In a Million.

Singers keep imitating these artists because their pieces last forever. Not just every song, every sound was high quality. Their voices were made to be recorded inside recording booths.

Now Prince was a perfectionist. He challenged you to be great. Because his expectations were sky high, you expected more of yourself as a result. I feel Prince knew his abilities were supernatural.

Whitney Houston was an angel. Moreover, I don’t know if she realized how strong an effect she had on the world. All her music should be archived. It would be a shame to lose a single Whitney Houston song.

We all know Aaliyah died way too young. Despite an untimely death, within a short span of time she demonstrated greatness. Without question, she shined royally. I believe the Princess of R&B would have eventually collaborated with Prince.

Many associated the music artist with the color Purple because of his hit number 1 song and movie. Similarly, Michael Jackson’s name is synonymous with Thriller. However, I think it’s important to remember all the legends’ work because their entire music catalog deserves respect.
What are your favorite Prince songs? Do you like Party Like It’s 1999, I Wanna Be Your Lover, and When Doves Cry? Prince could party, make love, and tear up more than one thing. Like Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana, he made the guitar spill tears.

What are the best Whitney Houston’s songs? Exhale, I Have Nothing, My Love Is Your Love, I Wanna Dance with Somebody are some great ones. The Greatest Love of All songstress might have been the greatest singer of all time.

Finally, I recommend listening to an Aaliyah album.

What is music without Prince, Whitney Houston, and Aaliyah?
